TRAILER TRASH?

What does that mean, exactly? I wonder how broad the criteria are that classify one as "Trailer Trash." And, is this a distinction that a certain percentage of the population aspire to? This is where I reside now.
Since I'm not going to try to classify my new fellow residents (wouldn't be very fair or nice), I can't say one way or the other, whether one is "trashy" and one is not. But... I will say this... living here WILL be entertaining! It looks like we have some retired snowbird types, and some families who travel full-time because their employment changes seasonally. We also have a few who look like they've been here a looong time, and don't have plans to leave anytime soon. Then, there are those who are going through a "transition time" in their lives. The economy has not been kind to lots of folks lately, so that's not too surprising. What I will say is that my new neighbors are nice as can be, and are ready to help in a pinch. I've been a little neurotic (ok, a lot) about all this change and responsibility, so many unknown factors are not a good thing for a worry-wart like me. Last night I had finally worried myself to exhaustion and when my family found me curled up in the fetal position on my bed, they asked what they could do to help... but there was nothing. These things just take time. I needed to cry, think, and sleep, over all these new challenges. This is my system, this is the way I roll. I admit, the system may be flawed, but it's the only one I've got, and by this morning I was feeling much better about things. And then the toilet broke! Long, and stinky story short, we had to buy a brand new toilet for our brand new trailer! And now I have a broken down toilet sitting out in front of my trailer house. This has to put me in class closer to "trash!" Think I'll plant some plastic flowers in it.

Although a broken toilet is not fun, it does make for a funny story and "coincidence"
